Actor and politician John Dumelo has successfully fulfilled his promise to walk barefooted in reverse from the University of Ghana (UG) to Presec in celebration of Presec Legon’s victory in the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).

 

Presec Legon emerged as the winners of the prestigious NSMQ competition on October 30th, increasing their NSMQ laurels to a total of eight. True to his word, John Dumelo embarked on the barefooted backward walk, bringing his promise to life.

 

In the final round held at the National Theatre, Presec Legon triumphed over Opoku Ware Senior High School and Achimota Senior High School to claim the championship. This victory prompted John Dumelo, an aspiring member of parliament, to fulfill his unique pledge.
