Accident in Kasoa Leaves Ten Injured, Including Military Officer
A serious accident occurred in Kasoa, located in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, resulting in injuries to ten individuals, including a military officer. The incident took place on Thursday morning and involved a BMW saloon car, a Sprinter Benz bus registered as GW 5506-13, and a borehole drilling vehicle.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Adom News, all three vehicles were traveling from Accra towards Buduburam. Upon reaching the Kasoa township, the driver of the saloon car allegedly executed a wrongful overtaking maneuver on the overpass, leading to the collision.
Emergency services were promptly called to the scene, and all the victims were swiftly transported to the Kasoa Polyclinic for medical treatment. Unfortunately, five of the injured individuals are reported to be in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the three vehicles involved in the accident have been towed to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command as investigations into the incident are currently underway.
