The Ghana Education Service (GES) has commenced the 2023 application process for promotion interviews of non-teaching staff in the Central region. Qualified serving officers are invited to submit their applications for consideration for promotion to the specified grades.

5. TECHNICAL CLASS

  • Senior Technical Officer
  • Assistant Technical Officer
  • Senior Technical Officer

6. LIBRARY CLASS

  • Senior Librarian
  • Librarian
  • Assistant Librarian

7. LABORATORY CLASS

  • Laboratory Technician

Qualification Requirements:

To be eligible, an applicant must have been promoted to their current grade on or before September 1st, 2018, and must have maintained continuous service (with approved absences) since that date. Additionally, applicants must possess a very satisfactory work history and demonstrate exemplary conduct within the Ghana Education Service.

 

Application Process:

1. Each applicant is required to fill out four (4) copies of the application forms, which can be obtained from the Metro/Municipal/District Education Offices. A recent passport-sized photograph should be affixed to each application form.

2. The applicant’s set of forms must be accompanied by the appropriate Staff Performance Appraisal Form (in quadruplicate) completed by the applicant’s head of institution (Second Cycle), MMD Directors, or Regional Director. Additionally, all previous Promotion Letters, particularly the most recent one, and certified copies of certificates should be attached to the application.

 

Submission Deadline:

The completed application forms must be sent through the MMD offices to the Regional Education Office no later than 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
