Important Notice Regarding GES Staff IDs and Epayslip Portal Registration

We would like to inform you about the release of several GES Staff IDs for Newly Posted Teachers for 2023. However, there are a few backlogs due to various reasons, including late receipt of appointment letters and delayed submission of assumption of duty letters and other relevant documents to the District and Regional offices.

Typically, when GES releases the Bulk Staff IDs for the Various Regions, we make them accessible on our platforms, such as WhatsApp and our blog, to ensure teachers can easily access them. However, with the current backlog, which is a small number of individuals, you are required to visit your IPPD Coordinator at the District or Regional Office to check for your Staff ID.

Please be aware that there have been instances of old IDs being shared on social media. To differentiate between old and new IDs, take note of the ID numbers. IDs that start with 14 are old, while those starting with 15 and 16 are new.

The recent integration of Ghana Card details during ID generation has facilitated the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) in accessing biometric data without the need for additional biometrics.

Once your Staff ID becomes available, your Validator will be notified, and it will be reflected on the ESPV (Electronic Salary Payment Voucher) during the validation process. We advise you to regularly check with your school’s Validator or Head during the validation process to ensure your timely payment for the month.

Please note that the publication of teachers’ Staff IDs is prohibited due to policy constraints.

For December, the IDs are ready, and we urge you to visit your IPPD Coordinator to collect yours.
