Vice-Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has assured Ghanaians that there won’t be any erratic power supply if the NPP assumes office after the 2024 elections.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh said the next NPP administration will “work to ensure a better Ghana.”
“We kukruudites will fight from room to room, house to house, community to community, village to village that never again will we have dumsor, that never again we will there be petrol queues, that never again will money be the determinant of how much education level you can achieve and surely the day of accountability is coming to some of them who have skeleton in their cupboards,” he noted at the launch of the NPP’s manifesto on Sunday, August 18.
The former Energy Minister also touted President Akufo-Addo’s achievement in the education sector
“The most profound thing that you did in education Mr. President is that when the naysayers said it was not possible, you made it possible. When the naysayers said you were lowering the standards, the first batch of free SHS stayed home five months because of COVID and when they came back and sat for the WASSCE we for the first time passed all four core subjects with 68% from Ghana,” he asserted.
