As the Ghana Education Service (GES) readies itself to announce and opened its recruitment portal for the 2024/2025 graduate recruitment, the Service has declared vacancy for Heads of Basic Schools in the Eastern Region, Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.

The recruitment portal is set to open soon, with specific vacancies declared for the position of Heads of Basic Schools in the Eastern Region’s Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.

The authoritative announcement comes with the signature of Mr. Samuel Otopah Ntow, the Municipal Director of Education for Nsawam Adoagyiri, affirming the readiness of the municipality to accept applications from suitably qualified serving officers aspiring to take on the role of Head of Basic School.


To be eligible for consideration, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a graduate professional teacher holding the rank of Assistant Director I or above.
  • Possess a minimum qualification of a first-degree, with a second degree in the relevant field considered an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Exhibit good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Maintain a satisfactory work history within the Ghana Education Service.

 


Prospective candidates are required to submit four copies each of the following documents:

  • A completed application form, available at the Municipal Education Office in Nsawam.
  • Appraisal forms, duly endorsed by the applicant’s Head of Institution.
  • Academic and professional certificates.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • Filled personal record forms, duly signed by the immediate supervisor.
  • A confidential report from the immediate supervisor.

The deadline for the submission of application forms and relevant documents is set for 16th February 2024. Aspiring applicants are urged to ensure that all necessary paperwork reaches the Municipal Director of Education in Nsawam by this date.
