Effutuakwa Traditional Council fines NDC for invoking curses Assin Fosu EC Office
The Assin Central Constituency executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been held in contempt by the Effutuakwa Traditional Council for violating the customary laws of the Council in the Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.
They are required to present 10 sheep, 6 cartons of Heineken Aromatic Schnapps, and a sum of GHC10,000.00 within a fortnight.
The Party was summoned before the Traditional leaders following reports in the town that they had sacrificed sheep to invoke the river gods, Antoa Nyama and Betinsin, to punish anyone attempting to manipulate the December general election in the Assin Central Constituency.
