Convoy of Mahama’s Running Mate, Jane Naana, Comes Under Attack
One of the vehicles in the convoy of the vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has been attacked on the Akosombo Accra highway.
It is alleged that the attacker is a Police outrider who was leading a convoy made up of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.
The incident happened between Akuse and Kpong on November 29.
According to the driver whose vehicle wind screen was smashed, he suspects that the other convoy was “NPP convoy.”
The driver explained that one of the Police motor riders threw an object at his vehicle which shattered the wind screen.
Professor Jane Naana’s team was returning from the Oti Region after their two-day campaign tour of the
region. No one was hurt
