Apply Now! University of Cape Coast Announces 2025 Sandwich Programmes: Submit Your Application Today

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2025 Sandwich Programmes.
These programmes, offered under the College of Education Studies, Faculty of Science & Technology Education, and the Department of Mathematics & ICT Education, are designed to provide educators and professionals with advanced knowledge in Mathematics and ICT Education.

Available Programmes and Admission Requirements



1.)Master of Education (Mathematics Education)

   Admission Requirements

A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics Education or a B.Ed. (Basic Education) with a Mathematics option, with at least a second-class lower division or better from a recognized university.

2.) Master of Education (Information Technology)

    Admission Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BMS, etc.) with at least Second Class (Honours) and a Diploma in Education.

3.) MPhil (Mathematics Education) – Top-Up Programme.

    Admission Requirements

A minimum CGPA of 2.5 in Master of Education (M.Ed.) coursework, no more than one grade “C” in the M.Ed. coursework, and a grade “B” or better in the M.Ed. Research Methods course.

4.) MPhil (ICT Education) – Top-Up Programme

    Admission Requirements

Holders of an M.Ed. in ICT or M.Ed. in IT are eligible for an MPhil ICT Education top-up, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in Master of Education (M.Ed.) coursework, no more than one grade “C” in the M.Ed. coursework, and a grade “B” or better in the M.Ed. Research Methods course.

These programmes are open to teachers at all educational levels and other qualified professionals working in education and training.

Deadline for Submission

The deadline for submission of applications is 1st June 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply before the deadline to secure their place in the programme.
