2024 Elections: TTAG congratulates John Dramani Mahama on election as president

The Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) has congratulated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 election presidential candidate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his election as President of the Republic of Ghana.

In a statement sighted by GhanaEducation.org, the leadership of the Trainees Association said “We recognize the significant responsibility you now bear and wish you a successful and impactful tenure.

The TTAG looks forward to collaborating with your Administration to address the critical needs and concerns of the over Sixty-Seven thousand (67,000) Teacher Trainees across the nation.We are committed to working constructively with your Government to ensure that Teacher Trainees receive adequate financial support, quality training and the resources necessary to become effective and impactful Educators for the future of Ghana.

We believe that investing in Teacher Trainees is investing in the future of Ghana’s  Education system and we pledge our unwavering support in achieving this shared goal.”John Dramanu Mahama won 56 per cent of the votes in Saturday’s presidential ballot, compared to the ruling party candidate and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, who secured 41 per cent, the electoral commission said in announcing official results.“These eight years have witnessed some of the darkest periods of our governance.

This mandate also serves as a constant reminder of what fate awaits us if we fail to meet the aspirations of our people,” the president-elect told supporters.
